Every town runs on a handful of businesses. The car wash on the corner, the laundromat, the shop that changes your oil, the storage lot off the highway. Most were built by one owner over decades. Many of those owners are now thinking about what comes next, and most will never call a broker.
We're founders in our late twenties. We've worked around private equity, but Acqiline isn't a fund, and no fund clock tells us when to sell. We want to be the buyer owners would actually pick: one that listens, keeps investing, and still cares how the place is doing years later. Owners want to root for us.
We built software that maps these businesses, their owners, and the land underneath, so we know who might be ready. Now we're connecting it to diligence, financing, and closing. The software keeps the work moving. The relationships, the decisions, and the owner's trust are on us.
We buy every business with its land. The land protects the investment, and the business is where we grow cash flow. We invest in the sites and the people, and build clusters of nearby sites that share customers, crews, and parts. Each one teaches us something for the next. We can keep reinvesting for decades, or sell a site, a cluster, or a company when it makes sense. That's our call.
We think the timing matters. As AI changes more of the economy, we believe businesses that need a real place and real people will be worth more than they are today. We want to own the best of them first, bought straight from the people who built them.
We'd invest in our towns even if it didn't pay. It does. It's why owners call us back, why members stay, and why people want to work with us. We're funding the first deals ourselves, and we're finding more good businesses than we can buy. We're raising to build the team and technology to move faster, and to run places our employees, customers, and towns are proud of. If you see it the same way, we'd love to talk.
